Destiny Maldonado, LCSW, Psychotherapist
Need a therapist that feels real, genuine & gets things done?
You’re in the right place.
Hey there! My name is Destiny and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, currently providing both individual and couples therapy virtually. I’m here to help provide you with a safe and supportive space to process & explore your past experiences, improve your relationships, heal & grow. I know that life can get really challenging & life is way too short for ‘just okay’ therapy. Therapy shouldn’t feel boring or as though you’re going to a doctor’s appointment.
I’m here to make sure that you feel understood & heard. I use evidence-based therapies that have been shown to actually work, while staying present & tailoring my sessions to you, based on your needs & goals. No one should be treated the same, because you are not the same.
I prioritize building a genuine and trusting therapeutic relationship. I am here to listen non-judgmentally, to offer tangible, concrete skills to use in your day-to-day life, and to provide you with a reliable and safe space to feel, think, and explore. Sometimes we need others to help us carry the weight & that’s okay.
Therapy with me should feel like a soft place to land. I want you to feel comfortable to come as you are, without any pressure. Life may feel overwhelming right now, but with the right support and tools, we can move past just simply coping. We can begin to feel in control again, heal, grow & experience joy. Ready to get some work done? Let’s connect and start this journey together.
