My Approach

  • Every person’s experience is unique and what may work for someone, may not work for you. I believe that therapy should be tailored uniquely to you. What are your needs and wants? I tailor my approach to be client-centered, to meet your individual needs. I’m here to help you navigate life and personal challenges with the confidence and tools, regardless of what you’ve experienced.

  • The mind & body are interconnected. And in my opinion, therapy shouldn’t just target one. Holistic healing means that we’ll incorporate mindfulness exercises, self care, build healthy habits & tools meant to address real life issues. I’m here to help the whole person. I want to treat the root cause of the issues, not just the symptoms.

  • In order to practice the most effective care, I strive to understand what has happened to you. Understanding the lived experiences & the effects that trauma or just shitty life experiences can have on us can help promote true healing & recovery. We don’t just glide over those experiences, we walk through it, process it & only then, can we move through it.

  • I believe that one of the most important aspects of therapy is the relationship between client & therapist. It can honestly make or break therapy. I believe in building a genuine, trusting relationship. I value authenticity, openness & honesty in my clients. There is no ugly that is too ugly for me. I strive to create a laid-back, casual environment where you feel most comfortable to open up & be your most authentic self. We can laugh, cry, (you can even scream, if you want to) and through that, we’ll work together in a way that feels genuine.

Therapy can be daunting and anxiety-inducing. Here, I am much more than just a listener, I’m an active participant. I can offer insight, provide strategies and challenges that are tailored to your unique needs & goals. We can explore and process past experiences, navigate current difficult experiences & set achievable goals for the future. I believe that asking for help can be a huge sign of strength & I’m so glad that you’re taking the next step.

Couples Therapy

Couples Therapy offers an opportunity to explore challenging dynamics within a safe, structured environment. Whether you need help expressing yourself to your partner or could benefit from a therapist providing some healthy boundaries during conversations, couples therapy can be a helpful tool to put your relationship first. You can feel more skilled in navigating current challenges, celebrate what makes you strong & foster a healthier & happier relationship.

Virtual therapy services available for clients living in New York, North Carolina and Florida. All sessions are held remotely via a HIPAA compliant video platform.

I am in network with Aetna, Cigna, Optum, Oxford, Oscar and United Healthcare. I can also provide superbills for any OON benefits your health care insurance may cover for possible reimbursement.

Out-of-Pocket Rates

  • Individual Therapy- $125 per session

  • Couples Therapy- $200 per session
